Audacity - Audio Recorder & Editor (Free)

If you want audio software that is excellent at recording and editing audio with a simple interface, then Audacity is the right choice. I use this software to record and edit all of my tutorial video voiceovers and game audio clips. Side note, Audacity also has great noise reduction tools built into the software which is very helpful for people with entry level microphones.
